Its not everyday that your Father escorts the Queen around your home town, a day never to be forgotten, a day to be immortalizezd through memories and photos. This was the first day I was given my own camera by my Papa. I had always played with his old cameras, but that day I was given a Kodak Instamatic camera. The three photos that follow are the only survivers from the roll. My first day as a photographer, my hardest lesson, but a driving force to capture lifes moments. I was so excited that day, after I took each photo, I secretly opened the back to check I had taken it, unfortunately this was in 1989 and the ability to check what you had taken was not even close. I ruined the film but created a fascination with capturing moments in time.
What I looked like on that day.
My Gran, Mother and older sister.
My Mum and Dad.
